Who is this variety for?

Highly recommended for plantations with sufficient water availability where it will provide high yields of EVOO

Of high organoleptic quality (bitter and spicy).

And exceeding the EFSA requirement for healthy oils.

Highlighted Characteristics

Medium-low, similar to Arbosana. Its bearing is bushy, not erect, emitting many fruitful branches.

Similar behavior to Arbequina. Under study in colder areas to assess its potential.

Similar to Arbosana but ending in a peak reaching veraison with violet hues. It bears fruit in clusters.

High, fatty yield equal to or greater than Arbequina. Consistent over the years. It is a variety that gives its best version under irrigation conditions. Very precocious, it maintains its youth only in the first two springs.

Reaches its maximum fatty yield 1-2 weeks after Arbequina with an oil that may have turned from green to tomato notes.

When harvested at the same time as Arbequina, it produces an exceptional oil with a high content of polyphenols and sensory characteristics of spiciness, fruity, and bitterness.
