Phones on, cameras ready… and long live the Agroinfluencers!
The first edition of the Agroinfluye awards gathers more than 250 attendees in a pioneering initiative to recognize the influencers of the agricultural sector
The Agroinfluye awards conclude their first gala, a gala dedicated to content creators in the agri-food sector, with overwhelming success: 1 million Instagram impressions, 250k accounts reached, and more than 75 thousand votes for the nominees.
The awards, organized by Dos Esferas Communication Agency and Agromillora, and presented by Chema Paraled, host of Tempero on Aragón TV and co-founder of Dos Esferas Communication Agency, brought together more than 250 people at the Etopia space (with over 200 more watching the live Instagram broadcast of the event). A gala with a clear message: to value the work of those content creators who, day after day, dedicate their time to showing the reality of work and life in the countryside through social media.
One of the big winners of the night was Paula de Prado (@pauladeprado), who won the award for Best Content Creator of the Year and took home the grand prize of the event. In her acceptance speech, she thanked all those who advocate for the primary sector through their channels and called on all women in the sector to continue working with pride and passion. Paula will travel to Italy to visit the facilities of VCR, a global company in the production of vine plants and partner of Agromillora in the development of sustainable and disease-resistant vineyards.

Many messages highlighted the need to value and show the day-to-day life of those who, with their feet on the ground, make it possible for the refrigerators and pantries of all Spaniards to be filled. A showcase and value, perhaps unknown, as Javier Duque (@duquitoo_), winner of the Always in the Cloud 4.0 category, pointed out, ensuring that “it is very necessary to teach and show the reality of agriculture in this country”.

The Agroinfluye awards also had the attendance of Pilar Pascual (@Agripilar), godmother of this first edition of the awards, who wanted to emphasize “that finally an initiative like Agroinfluye has been carried out, as it is a vital necessity for the future and present of the sector.” Pilar closed her speech by encouraging those who have doubts to dare to publish agro content on social media: “we are not enough, we need many more Agroinfluencers.”

Another topic of the night was the great presence of young people among the nominees. It is increasingly difficult to “engage” young people with the primary sector, and generational renewal is one of the major pending issues in agriculture in our country. However, the image was hopeful and invites us to “continue fighting for sustainable and fair agriculture, with firm generational renewal full of young people,” advocated Marc Miralles (@huerto_ecologico.marc), winner of the Master of Pruning category and one of the youngest nominees of the gala.

Before and after the awards ceremony, attendees were able to enjoy countless interactive proposals from the sponsors, as well as create content among themselves and strengthen ties to continue making this community of agro content creators grow day by day.
And as Anna Nin, head of marketing and communication at Agromillora Iberia, pointed out, “leaving aside the finalists and winners of each category, with these awards, the real winner is the Agro sector.”
It is worth noting that this initiative would not have been possible without the support, collaboration, and sponsorship of prominent companies in the sector, such as BANCO SANTANDER, BALAM, FENDT, JOHN DEERE, SYNGENTA, REGABER, VEGGA, BASF, SERRAT, RITEC, KUBOTA, AGR by DE PRADO, SEIPASA, TERNASCO DE ARAGÓN, KUHN, CECOGA, ANAGAN, ALIMENTOS DE ARAGÓN.
