FA 5 is a mandarin Hybrid of Cleopatra x Poncirus trifoliata (L.) obtained in 1978.
1. Morphologycal characteristics
Medium size tree, of profuse branch with short and thin bouquets. Many spines with conic shape and small size, less than 1 cm long. Green young sprouts.
Deciduous leaves, most of them trifoliate of pale green color.
Flowers with white petals.
Slightly flattened fruits, small, mandarin type. Seeds are polyembrionic.
Classify as semi dwarf, reducing 25-50% size respect standar rootstocks.
High productivity and excellent fruit quality.
