Micropropagation Technology

At Agromillora, we take pride in leading the change in the industry, based on the in vitro propagation system, and developing it on a large scale worldwide.

With 11 laboratories spread across the globe, we are pioneers in in vitro multiplication technology for woody species. Currently, we are micropropagating over 1400 different cultivars from more than 50 species, including rootstocks and varieties of fruit trees, citrus, and berries, among others.

Planting in SHD systems is a highly efficient and highly technical process. Prior to planting, the soil is prepared (with a slope not exceeding 20%), varieties are chosen, and the plantation pattern/orientation of rows designed. Currently, Smarttree plants featuring a plastic protector offer plantation yields that exceed 6,000 plants/day.

We conduct in vitro production of over 100 different species with more than 350 distinct varieties.

Development of new technologies in laboratories and greenhouses

Nursery production

The large-scale production of container-grown plants with sterile substrate, developed in controlled greenhouse environments, has allowed us to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Our product meets the highest genetic and health standards, and we are constantly growing into new markets, creating new subsidiaries all over the world.

At the end of the day, the development of new technologies and the search for solutions for process automation are in our nature.

Development of in-vitro culture protocols in new species

Nursery production

Our interest in meeting the demand of new markets has involved the constant development of protocols for the in-vitro production of new species such as avocado, hevea, coffee, cocoa and papaya.
